This position will be based out of Gallatin Trails and Madison Park apartments in Bozeman, MT, but will also support Copper Pines and Bridger Heights apartments as needed.

Position Summary
As an Assistant Property Manager, you will assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations and management of a designated community (or communities). You will ensure exceptional service delivery, resident satisfaction, and overall operational efficiency. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to; financial transactions, assisting with leasing and administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with housing regulations, and maintaining property standards. You will play a critical role in fulfilling our mission of providing a quality living environment to enhance the lives of our residents!
What You’ll Be Doing
Provide exceptional service to residents, prospective residents, and internal team members.
Lease apartments while providing office management and administrative support.
Collect rent and ancillary fees from residents, including the management of delinquent accounts.
Process rental payments and record primary financial data for property accounting purposes.
Post income and deposits accurately and in a timely manner.
Inspect apartment homes after move-outs to ensure compliance with property standards.
Prepare and deliver notices to residents as needed.
Address and resolve resident requests and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
Partner with maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of work orders.
Support sales and marketing efforts to lease available units.
Assume the duties of the Property Manager in their absence.
Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, state, and federal laws.
Adhere to all safety procedures and promptly report safety hazards to the supervisor.
Education and Qualifications
A minimum of one year of experience in leasing, sales, hospitality, or customer service is required; property management experience is highly preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
Experience with Yardi Property Management software is preferred.
Familiarity with state and federal Fair Housing laws.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
A valid driver’s license is required.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact tactfully with residents, co-workers, and management.

Compensation
The compensation for this position is $25 per hour.

Regularly required to sit, and to move about the various work environments to train, monitor and ensure compliance with all company requirements.
Ability to push/pull/lift up to 25lbs
Verbally communicate with employees, co-workers and customers in person and by phone.
May occasionally travel to various worksites requiring overnight stays, flights, and/or prolonged travel in a vehicle.
