Schedule for this role: Wednesday to Saturday, 9 AM to 6 PM (32 hours per week, full-time benefits eligible).

Job Summary

What you'll be doing 

  • Perform all sales and leasing activities to achieve community revenue and occupancy goals.
  • Greet, interact with, and qualify prospective residents.
  • Initiate the process to screen prospective residents and secure lease agreements.
  • Conduct community tours, show apartment homes, and process applications.
  • Follow up with future and new residents to ensure satisfaction in finalizing leasing decisions.
  • Respond quickly and courteously to resident concerns and questions, including partnering with the appropriate office or maintenance team members to resolve their concerns. 
  • Communicate lease expirations and facilitate lease renewals.
  • Ensure model units and amenities are physically appealing to prospects and current residents.
  • Partner with the property manager and marketing team to support property marketing activities and resident events.
  • Occasionally travel and assist other properties’ operations and leasing efforts, when needed, to support overall company goals. 
  • Fulfill any other job-related duties assigned by management based on business needs. 
Education and Qualifications 
  • 1+ years of experience in sales, hospitality, customer service, and/or leasing is required. Experience in multi-family property management is preferred.
  • Knowledge of apartment management laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local level is preferred. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally over the phone, in written communication, and face to face.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in computer and technology skills, including Microsoft Office, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software systems and tools.
  • Must possess a high level of integrity and compassion with an emphasis on teamwork, inclusion, growth, and customer service. 
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards operationally and professionally.  
  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required. 
  • Being bilingual in English and Spanish is an advantage. 
  • Must hold and maintain a valid driver's license. 
  • Must be able to work on-site and travel between properties. This position is not eligible for remote work. 
Compensation 
  • The hourly compensation range for this position is $20 to $23 per hour (depending on experience).

Physical Requirements 
To successfully perform the essential functions of this job, the employee must be able to: 
  • Perform work in a professional office environment.
  • Must be able to use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines.
  • Regularly required to sit, and to move about the various work environments to train, monitor and ensure compliance with all company requirements.
  • Verbally communicate with employees, co-workers and customers in person and by phone.
  • Travel to various worksites that may require overnight stays, flights, and/or prolonged travel in a vehicle.
